OMG!! baby let me tell ya! I ahve loved Midnight Star since i was a little girl watching yall videos with Donnie Simpson. I had the curl and everything!! I knew every move from every video!! And everybody knows back then BET played the same videos over and over, so go figure!! lol! I am still a die hard fan and I love yall. I was at the Sam Houston Race Track last year to see you guys and I was loosing my mind! You guys looked and sound sooo good. Everyone was l;ooking at me , and I didnt care. I was singing and dancing like it was back in tha 80's!!! I am planning a throw back 80's party in 2011 for my 40th birthday!! I am saving my money to have you guys perfoem at my party!!!! I am so excited and when you guys sing Wet My Whistle or Curious I'm gonna loose it!! Until then..muah!! I love you Midnight Star!!!

I am a fan of Midnight Star,I grew up listening on the radio,and I have a couple of albums,but my favorite was "Dont Rock that Boat Baby","Snake in the Grass",and this slow song that I remembered as "Keep u satified",I have to find some more songs I like,It is some more singing groups that have ties to Louisville,Wilson Picket "Wickett Picket",I know his nephews,New Birth,I know the Churchill Brothers,not personally,but I have met Eric,the Moonglows-Harvey Fuqua,Prince Phillip Mitchell,Playa Static Major,those are the ones that I know but I figure there are more,I was wondering how Midnight Star is doing,I just like their style of music,just upbeat sound,dance music,soul,funk,rb,anyway I have to give a shout out of the group that made it,Oh! I did not forgot Tenita Gains,I new her sons Cory and Curtis in Newburg. I love Midnight Star.

Want to say hi to one particular member, and that is Bobby Lovelace. We grew up together in elementry & high school. started out playing drums together in elem. You stuck with it Bobby and made it to the big times. I'm so proud of you. I gave up the drums and started playing the bass. Never forget those days when you practiced playing in your parents basement. Again, proud of you Bobby, God has bless you in so many ways, and it overflows, Take care,

I really enjoyed the show at the Rice Festival in Crowley, LA. Glad to see the band back together. Looking forward to hearing a lot more new music.
